Why is physical health so important?
Health issues have been hot topics for many years. BUT – I think we see so much about it, hear so much about it, and wish so much about it that it loses its convincing power.
I know it did for me.
It did. But no longer.
I’ve watched people that I love (family and friends) deal with SO many healthy issues – things like heart issues, blood pressure problems, diabetes, cancer, weight issues, and so much more. I’ve seen what health problems can do to you. And it bothered me to see so many struggling.
However, I didn’t pay much attention to my own health. For years I ignored my weight. For years I didn’t care what I ate. For years I didn’t care how little I exercised. But then…
I faced some trials that put things into perspective. When my world was rocked, I looked at me – and I realized that I needed to change. So I did.
I watched what I ate. I exercised more. I flooded my body with proper nutrients. And not only did I drop around 50 pounds, but I also found myself feeling SO much better.
That’s what I want for all of us. And that’s what this blog will aim to do (along with the other areas of health that we must address). It helps me clarify what I’ve learned and am learning, and I hope it will encourage and challenge you as well.
